I wasn't expecting this but the Foo Fighters facebook page posted this statement,
He was only 50
He was only 50
Life isn't nearly as sacred as the appreciation of passion

I'm still processing this. The whole situation, just so sad
Foo Fighters have cancelled all remaining tour dates. I definitely think the future of the band is seriously in question, which I understand entirely, Taylor ended up meaning so much more than just a drummer to those guys
If there's one silver lining in all of this, it's that Taylor got to literally live his dream in the tragically short life he had.
Seeing him perform in person as I did in 2018 was a real privilege
