after complaining to me about going to thrift stores since college I actually turned my mom into a thrift store shopper. She had a knee surgery two years ago and wanted to get an exercise bike...always the item that gets purchased and then not used so i went on the second hand hunt...she couldn't handle the regular style on that I got her for free...she wanted a recumbent (the low kind with pedals in front of you)...so I saw one for $40 there and went to get her cus I didn't want o buy the wrong thing....she agreed to come and then was like "they have a lot of books here. I should look at them some time"...she refused to stay and look...books were half price the next day and she still didn't go...the next week though she said she was going to go...I'm surprised she remembered before I told her about it again...now she goes weekly for half price books...I'm stunned!

Haha that's awesome! My fiancee was the same way, he'd drag his feet whenever i'd ask him to go. When he saw all the books he flipped, now I have to stop him from going too much.

Cool shirts! I have that Nirvana one!

I went to one thrift store hoping to find clothes for work because all of my dresses are too short. Didn't find much, but I did get an awesome official Jason Voorhees hockey jersey.

if someone would read a book from the library I don't know why they'd be opposed to thrift store books...they've been read by less people!!!!
No way in hell will I ever be able to convince my sister to go to a thrift store!!!

Not particularly. These shirts were from Salvation Army, nothing special. Sometimes you just get lucky :)

An oldie? I'd imagine originals to be pretty rare.
