I have to pick Love, Hate, Love on this one. AiC is all about dark lyrics, and this one is an absolute masterpiece and among my all time favorite songs. The lyrics describes what is going on inside the head of a man after a tough break-up, and the result is just sick. Layne is bringing these words into meaning with his beautiful and unique voice, and the whole man simply explodes after the guitar solo. It also has a very dark atmosphere without any heavy riffs, but a soft and creepy one. The bass is also great on this track, and it also contains my favorite guitar solo from the band. The whole song is just perfect, and is almost falling together in darkness.

Hey. How about wandering over to the intro section and telling us about yourself?

Well, to me the darkest AIC song is "Brush away" from III, which is also the darkest AIC-album in my opinion. It is so full of dark atmosphere and dissonant melodies that it makes "Dirt" feel like a childrens birthday party. ;)
"Hear my name, take a good look
This could be the day
Hold my hand, lie beside me
I just need to say
I could not take just one day
I know when I would not ever touch you
Hold you...feel you...in my arms...never again"

Dude, you should definitely make a proper introduction in the Intro section, I already think you'll fit in nicely here! :D
