I just checkd for the umpteenth time whether there will be a new Battery release soon or not. Of course I didn't find what I was looking for, but to my suprise I learned that Ron and Kevin of LB fame have a new band with Kurt Danielson of Tad and Garret Shavlik of the Fluid! They sound pretty much like Love Battery though, so on the one hand I dig it they're making music, on the other hand - why couldn't they just finally get their act with LB together and make a new record with their old band?
Look at what I just found in my inbox after having posted the indiepedia.de link for Vaporland at the band's Facebook page:
Kurt Danielson wrote:Hi Jan,
Thanks for that wiki post about Vaporland: very cool! I wish my German was better, but from what I can tell, it seems accurate. I'll tell the guys about it at practice this week.
Thanks again for taking the time to do that!
Cheers,
Kurt
PS: Vaporland is currently booking new gigs and recording demos and writing new tunes. We'll be posting the gig dates as soon as they get finalized.

Oh, and Ron Nine sent me three exclusive demos that aren't available anywhere because I asked so nicely Here's what he wrote:
The almighty Ron Nine wrote:Hey Jan,
Here you go.
We're still working on this stuff .
I'll send you copies of the finished songs later.
So please don't share online.
Cheers, Ron
Well, as the boss says I'm not allowed to share, so you lot will have to wait for the album to be released
