Listened to 'FREE'? Paul Rogers who is now currently touring with Queen. Back in the late 60's they were a great blues rock band. You might know them from songs like 'All Right Now', but the majority of their material was bluesy. A modern blues band that really captures the rough sounding blues is 'The Black Keys'. They are a up-and-comming alternative band.
Eddie Vedder: Matt Cameron writes songs and we run to find step stools in order to reach his level. Did we mention he's the greatest drummer on the planet?

Without a doubt, Robert Cray is one of my favourites... Check it out, maybe you'll like it

Robert Johnson. Essential listening for blues fans.

And since this is a grunge forum, you could always check out Kurt Cobain's favorite blues artist, Leadbelly.

Yeah, Smokestack Lightning baby!

And Willie Dixon. But Robert Johnson is the best.

Yesterday I heard this great blues radio on iTunes for like 1 hour. Really enjoyed it, even though I didn't know any of the songs playing
