I just discovered this band today. Wow...on internet radio. Very excited. All the radio stations around here blow. And by that I mean play the same songs over and over etc. Very irritating.

The lead singer reminds me a lot of the late Bon Scott and there music videos crack me up. Can anyone recommend a good album to maybe buy? Thoughts input?

Jackyl are practically unknown where I'm from.
I always loved the "Lumberjack" song they did, I first heard it after someone requested it on Planet Rock, I think , but I never dug deeper or checked out a full album by them.

You brought up Bon Scott, imo their lead singer (who they call Jesse James DuPree) sounds more like Brian Johnson than Bon. Very ACDC influenced however look at it, but I never heard ACDC do a chainsaw solo!
Made Lumberjack accessible directly from the thread
I miss the comfort in being sad.
Drive away and its the same, everywhere death row everyone’s a victim.
