Kendrick Lamar

Post by P A I V »

Kendrick Lamar makes jazzy and soulful hip hop with insightful lyrics and a range of feelings he successfully attempts to convey.

His new album is coming out on the 14th and it's called "DAMN." Til then, here's some stuff to check out:

The man is good. I've enjoyed some of his songs thus far.

I like Kendrick, not all of his stuff is great but the man is certainly talented and intelligent lyricism, which is finally coming back into mainstream hip hop, is always appreciated

I listened the new song (mostly cause of the video, some feminists pages had shared it), didn't like it much, but I've read that he is a good lyricist with things to say about current situations. I don't listen to rap often, but I do appreciate good political lyricist, no matter of their style of music. So yes, most definitely gonna check him out when I have time.
