George Harrison was a talented man. I remember watching the news about his passing all those years ago. I knew it was important but I didn't know better than.

Cause he pretty much made most of their artistic choices.

Lennon is the best songwriter of all time.

I've known about Lou Reed for a good bit of time. He's last thing with Metallica was just bad and put me off of him for some time.

Whoever hasn't heard Lennon's #9 Dream has not lived life to its full extent.

Lou Reed is dead?! :(

But don't worry, there's something about an artist not being able to ever make anything ever again (cause they're dead) that just makes people listen to their music more.

Remember when Michael Jackson died? Fo fux sake.

Some of my first records (well not mine but my parents') were Abbey Road, the "1967-70" double LP, and the Hey Jude/Revolution and While My Guitar Gently Weeps/Lady Madonna 45 singles. Could have been worse for sure :)

I've known about the band all my life and I had been a listener since I first got into music back in 2010, but it wasn't til the beginning of this year that I started to really research the group and read their Wikipedia articles. I found myself listening to songs I've never heard before and are some of my favorites now.

wait... wasn't it you that said at one point they were too light for you? or was that someone else... someone said that and Dante told them to piss off and go listen to She's So Heavy and Helter Skelter.

So freaking heavy. My innocent child mind was literally blown to bits by the menacing outro and the sudden silence. I blame this song for never becoming a metalhead. It couldn't get heavier than this.
