Dunno if you like funk bands but there were kindaalot of them
apart from bootsy's rubber band there were other funky ones like

ohio players(yeh you probably know them already)

How can you make a list of funk bands and not include Parliament/Funkadellic? Confunkshun are cool. And of course The Ohio Players. Let's throw in LTD and Rasputin's Stash in for good measure. :lol:

This thread would have been perfect for me.
Although I was about 14 when this thread was last in use... I had already long since cut my teeth on 70s rock...
