Eh, I've been busy with work and trying to keep up with my classes. I work in a candy store, and being so close to Easter we've been quite busy. Being a full-time college student and working 20+ hours a week (I have 32 next week) takes a lot out of ya. So that's were I've been....doing that and going to concerts now and then...as an attempt to keep my sanity...

Yes. Coldplay. That's exactly what the new Silverchair sounds like to me. They completely switched genres; they are in no way "grunge" anymore. I hate it.

Frogstomp is one of my favorite albums.....Just a masterpiece...There more recent albums aren't anywhere near as good though.

I'm not sure if any of you others would call them grunge, but some call Smashing Pumpkins grunge. Anyway I've been listening to them a lot lately, and they were really big in the mid 90's I hear, so post grunge maybe?

I consider their earlier stuff like Frogstomp grunge, but there later stuff can totally be considered post-grunge.

I agree with you on that man there more recent music isn't all shit they have there moments on some albums just non like Frogstomp. No matter how hard they try that album can't be duplicated. And it's sad to see them move away from there grunge style *sighs* ohhh well I guess :)

Hmm I wouldn't compare them with Coldplay but it is certainly a tragedy..
