I've never listened to them, but I've wanted to for awhile. Don Fleming helped produce Pretty on the Inside with Kim Gordon and I think they did a really good job. Do you know where i can download their CDs?

I know Don Fleming was in B.A.L.L. before he formed Gumball, because in B.A.L.L. he played with Guy Pinhas on bass, and Guy happens to have played the bass for the mighty Scott Wino Weinrich's The Obsessed who happened to be quite simply the greatest band on earth, yessirree.

And just that anyone knows what brilliant songs those guys are able to play:

I heard the name once while drifting endless pages of wikipedia text (as you do) but apart from that I haven't heard much at all. They sound fantastic!

New York love!!!
A grunge related band no question, they have a unique sound to them, definitly an uptempo poppy/punky and psychadelicy sound to them. I love their "Revolution On Ice" album.

I'm happy I ran across this thread. I have never really listened to Gumball before. I had heard their name probably a thousand times in reading about other bands but had just never bothered to look them up. They really do have a great sound though. I see myself listening to more in the future.

Great find on the CD btw. I love it when I go into a thrift shop and someone has just unloaded a CD that I need. A little unexpected treasure. =)
