We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no one's been. Talk about the enigmatic Tool and their side projects like A Perfect Circle here.

Josh Freese is the man! I've only seen him with NIN but that was totally epic! It was on the Year Zero tour with Alan North on guitar and Twiggy on bass... great lineup!
Did you hear about his new solo album?
From Blabbermouth.com...
"Freese has unveiled a line of "deluxe" editions of the album ranging in price from five bucks for a digital download of the record to $75,000 for an exclusive package that features Freese joining your band or becoming your personal assistant for a month, one of his drum sets, a five-song EP written and recorded about you, taking mushrooms and cruising around Hollywood with TOOL drummer Danny Carey, and 500 copies of the new record.
...
Among the deals offered this time: for $7,500, you can evoke spirits with Freese, MÖTLEY CRÜE's Tommy Lee and NINE INCH NAILS' Danny Lohner. The same price will also get you a day at the spa plus an arts and crafts class with Twiggy Ramirez from Marilyn Manson's band, or a private ride in THE OFFSPRING frontman Dexter Holland's plane, or a day at the horse races with "Jackass" star Johnny Knoxville. $10,000 gets you Freese's Volvo station wagon, having him as a member of your band for two days, and the chance to "motorboat" his wife's friend Sarah for a minute."
The man is a legend!

That is so awesome, wish I had that money I'd totally go for it
I saw them on Year Zero tour too, it was absolutely fantastic. Probably the best show I've gone to! And the setlist was fucking great, for example they played 5 songs from Broken and The Big Come Down sounded FUCKING GOOD LIVE

You should get the "Beside You In Time" dvd (if you haven't already got it) as it was from the With teeth tour but has that same lineup and it has a really good mix from pretty much everything. Really heavy versions of "Terrible Lie" and "The Big Comedown".
Debut album out now, listen to the whole thing on Soundcloud

I've seen it once, It's great. I have the other live DVD from NIN, it's good too but I really liked it a lot more before actually seeing them live because after an experience like that, a DVD just isn't enough

Same as when they broke up but with a different bassist... can't remember his name. He might be the bassist from Ashes Divide??
yeah its um matt mcjunkins or whatever his name is. the rest of the lineup is the same

After going back and forth for a bit, I decided to listen to APC. Now, it was mostly how should I start and I decided to get their first album Mer De Noms instead of the greatest hits Three Sixty. I'll get back to guys when I finish it, but so far I like it.

I tried to seduce my wife by singing Big Dumb Sex to her once. Didn't work out though, I dunno why

So I listened to Mer De Noms last night and I like it...alot.
Favorite track thus far, when I listen to more, is 3 Libras. So good.

3 libras is really simple to play on guitar too but it's so beautiful. I am a drummer so i only know a few songs on guitar.

I come from a country of northern lights, lightless days and nightless nights.
I'm not gonna sit around and waste my precious divine energy trying to explain and be ashamed of things you think are wrong with me.

Another reason why the Tool album has been put off? Probably.
