I can't pick a favorite, but those are some of my favorites. I have noticed that almost nobody put Tighter & Tighter, Overfloater, Like Suicide, Boot Camp, or Pretty Noose on their lists. C'mon guys, show Down On The Upside some love!
I don't know if that also counts, but I like Boot Camp, Pretty Noose and Overfloater, too :wink2: As I said before, to answer this question I can as well type the complete tracklist of every album. By the way, isn't Like Suicide on Superunknown or didn't you refer to Down On The Upside as a whole?
Like Suicide's on Superunknown...but the rest of the songs I mentioned are on Down On The Upside. I figured I might confuse people if I mentioned Like Suicide, but I did it anyway.

Actually, there was nothing wrong with what you said, but I was just curious as to why you were mentioning Like Suicide in connection with Down On The Upside. The way you expressed it implied to me as if you were talking about DOTU solely in the last sentence. Well, whatever... I won't be bothering you any longer with this, that's just hair splitting of mine.

You quote All Your Lies in your sig, so you can't be a bad person.

And Paul, do I really need to remind you that DOTU is the best album ever and that I've been saying that for years but nobody listened to me?

I honestly don't think I can pick a favorite..I literally love like every song from every album and all the b-sides I've heard.. Tops are probably

Toy Box
Birth Ritual
4th of July
Black Hole Sun
Never Named
Never the Machine Forever
Nothing to Say
Flower
Bleed Together
Karaoke
"No one can save the pure or the brave..
No one can save them at all."

With the tragic even of Chris Cornell's passing, I decided to go through the cobwebs to find a thread to revive to talk about the songs that brought us to love him dearly.

His best song in my opinion? For me, it is Blow Up The Outside World. It is not because of the lyrics, the vocals, ,but it was because I connected to this song. I believe I stated once that this song covers a dark chapter in my life I was dealing with my personal thoughts and demons while living in the reality without my dad around. Yet, unlike most songs similar in nature I keep coming back to it and just marvel at its greatness. It is just...beautiful.

There are other songs by Chris that I can attest to this, but Blow Up The Outside World will always be my top pick.

That's a great choice. I think his best song is Rowing. It's the perfect synergy of the whole band and the perfect final track to their catalog.

Rowing is fantastic. Definitely one of the gems of King Animal.

I'm going through one of the darkest times of my life right now but for whatever SG is not a part of it. I'm listening to Tycho and Simpsonwave, chill stuff that both saves me from drowning and pushes my head underwater. I guess since Chris died I haven't allowed SG to be part of my life anymore even though I still love the music. 2017 really was the worst year ever.
