Cobirds Unite!

In the Spring of 2009, Rusty emailed Rachel some songs he wanted to sing with her. In Autumn 2010, Local 638 Records releases Cobirds Unite, the record they made with Barrett Martin, Johnny Sangster, Barbara Hunter and Margrethe Bjorklund. All of them here at the ready to mainline into you, the Sound of the Cobirds Unite.

"Willoughby has earned his solid reputation regionally ever since he fronted Pure Joy in the mid-80s, and proves on the terse and tender "Crown Of Thorns," "Where are The Knives," and the title track on Cobirds Unite that he's not just hustling faux hillbilly hoodoo."

Chris Estey - Three Imaginary Girls

"Music for folk who never fell out of love with music in the first place."

Everett True

"You guys got somethin' goin' on."

Eric Drew Feldman - Black Francis Summer Tour

Pick up your copies of the album NOW! or download it, it's pretty amazing how Rusty's music style and song writing creativity is still as fluid and amazing as it was in the 80's and 90's. Check out his website for more info.
