"King of the horseflies, dark prince of death..." Where Boys Fear to Tread
I'm surprised you haven't heard about this? They made a big deal because this is the first year of Nirvana's eligibility and they got in, and KISS FINALLY got in and they've been voicing their thoughts the last few months. But mainly that they will air it at the end of the month.

I noticed today is the 20th anniversary of the release of "Live Through This" by Hole. I had forgotten how close to the news of Kurt's passing it came out. It was such a good album and at the same time it just made you really miss Kurt. I felt really bad for Courtney as this was before any conspiracy theories were out there. Fans were crying, and I still remember everyone I knew tuning in to hear Courtney speak at Kurts memorial. I personally know people who lost their shit. A friend of mine got drunk and smashed his stereo system and then took all of his Nirvana collection out the a nearby lake and jumped in with them, just cursing at Kurt saying how much he loved him and how much he hated him for deciding to leave. It was intense. Then "Live Through This" hits the store shelves. Courtney is on the front of every magazine for releasing a great album and then you have a ton of special editions with tributes to Kurt on the cover hitting newsstands. Anyway, the album is great and it's really touching to see the band and Courtney bury the hatchet for at least one night to celebrate the music that affected so many people in such a real and amazing way.
