I'm going to bump this...Just because I just stumbled upon it, and I remember helping Adam with it back in our Grunge FM days :D

You should add every band off the lamestain blog. And on the side they are linked with other Northwest music based blogs. Just throwing it out there 8|

Include:

AMQA (Apple Maggot Quarantine Area) - (A hardcore band from outside of Seattle. Future members of Seaweed, HellTrout, and Portrait Of Poverty)
Awesome Color - (You know them haha)
The Baseball Project - (The guys from Young Fresh Fellows are in this newly formed band....Even have a full length out!)
Big Damn Crazyweights - (Had a record released by Sub Pop back in the day)
Biography Of Ferns - (Jack Endino recorded 2 of their albums. Fairly modern band, i believe started around 2001)

Oh I forgot. I have a list too!
mine does the same as this one though, but I incuded a few of the post-grunge bands and I focus a lot on the current Seattle Scene now....I can send it to you when I feel it's decent.

You need to included:

Zombie Jihad (a newer band in Seattle, more of a metal band, Jack Endino recorded an album of theirs)
The Creatures (released an album on the Sub-Pop singles club way back when)
Mercury Four (a really awesome sounding band, Jack Endino recorded 2 of their albums)
Rusty Willoughby (he has solo stuff out)
Hot For Chocolate (friends from, I think Cat Butt in this more recent band)
HellTrout

These are some awesome bands from Athens, GA that draw heavy influences from the grunge/90's rock scene.

Post any new great up and coming rock bands you've recently heard and liked.

I've recently stumbled across some great bands out of Athens, Ga that I found absolutely amazing. It seems like the Athens, Ga music scene is still alive and kicking butt!

Dead Confederate: an awesome psychedelic/grunge rock band. Here is their song "The Rat"

Lullwater: really dig these guys. They have a 90's rock influence sound but they make it their own and relevant in today's music scene. This song is called "Tug of War"

The Whigs: sick post grunge/rock/pop. Saw these guys open up for Kings of Leon. I think this was one of their first big songs. "Right Hand On My Heart"
