So, is there any radio yet?
If you guys are ready to pay (if all of us do it, it won't be much) for a rent of a server, we can make the streaming right away.

I really, really would like to be a DJ of a radio station sometime in the future. If you guys need any help, I'd love to help out. I wouldn't play all Grunge though if I DJed, I'd need a bit of diversity. I can do basic webdesign too, but I know QsySue probably is much better than I am.

Alright everyone!!!

a bit of an update, my college radio station was cancelled 2 weeks ago because of some profanity used (by me) during th show. They gave me a warning, BUT me being an asshole I am collected the most obscene songs I could and played them....Needless to say they weren't happy and pulled me....HOWEVER!!!! I got an e-mail saying that by popular request they want my grunge station back on the air!!!!

I haven't responded yet, still don't know if I want to do it....But if/when I decided to hop back on, I want everyone's help in making a playlist to put on the air. In fact, I can even take phone call requests and e-mails. So This thread MUST become more active to help me out. I'll post the link when things get finalized/when I feel like getting back on hahah.

I want ONLY grunge bands and post-grunge bands....Please put here what you guys want to hear and i'll see what I can do.....I'm not guaranteeing anything but my station will be on the air eventually, I'll post the link for y'all when it happens. Sorry I didn;t do it before though :(

So keep putting songs down here that you guys want to hear, and keep in mind, I do have a large rare-er grunge collection so if you request rare bands I might have em', we must share the love to the other lesser known bands!!

1.Smashing Pumpkins - Zero
2.Smashing Pumpkins - Jellybelly
3.Smashing Pumpkins - Slunk
4.Foo Fighters - Exhausted
5.Foo Fighters - Wattershed
6.Foo Fighters - Podunk
7.L7 - Everglade
8.L7 - Scrap
9.Nirvana - Scoff
10.Nirvana - Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge on Seattle
11.Pond - Side Road
12.Pearl Jam - Dissident
13.Screaming Trees - Butterfly
14.Paw - Max The Silent
15.Paw - Cowpoke

I understand that some may argue that Foo Fighters aren't grunge, but their early work sounded real grungy so I picked out 3 of their more grungish songs.

If you're gonna have a playlist, I think playing 3 consecutive songs by an artist is kinda repetitive. I mean, it's a great playlist, but most people listen to the radio because they don't play the same stuff over and over.

I think you should totally put in Between The Eyes by Love Battery, Hurricane Dance by Truly, and Bound For The Floor by Local H somewhere in there.
