Nirvana. Not because I like MTV Unplugged so much, but because it was the first Nirvana album I listened to extensively... :P

It's really hard to choose between AiC and Nirvana...
I come from a country of northern lights, lightless days and nightless nights.
I'm not gonna sit around and waste my precious divine energy trying to explain and be ashamed of things you think are wrong with me.

But the feeling in it is so raw and honest, just like in Nirvana's. It's heartbreaking.

For some reason it's really bizarre watching a person who's dying baring their soul.

Alice In Chains Unplugged is something I can't share with others (except Jen) or else I'll feel dirty and guilty.

That doesn´t change anything if the show itself lacks quality... For me at least...

Haven't we had a thread like this?

Bob Dylan's is just so well performed, and I love the voice he had during the 90's
It's my favorite MTV unplugged

when the whole thing comes crashing down, don't ask me why, don't ask me why

Well, everything's subjective.

I feel that very much. Unplugged is still my favorite album of theirs and I spent more time listening to that than any other AiC records (Dirt is a close second though). I mean Frogs alone.... uuuuh, shivers.

That is my favorite Alice song. Ever. And always.

Alice in Chains Unplugged is still, in my opinion, one of the best performances ever.

I'm on the AiC Unplugged-lovers team  For some reasons:
1-) Their music really fits the acoustic setting. Songs like Nutshell and Frogs found their (in my opinion) definitive versions there.
2-) Layne. Read sadie's comment. That's exactly it, and pretty much because of Layne.

But yeah, Nirvana's Unplugged is another classic :)
For those about to polka... we salute you
