Ebay/Amazon etc. treasure dump thread

Post by KristinNirvana » Mon Nov 12, 2012 2:47 am

I thought there should be a thread where we post stuff we find online, such as ebay, if maybe we don't or can't buy it but think someone here might want it or could use it, sort of to help each other out that way. I started this on my personal facebook page, but figured why not bring it here, because people probably aren't going to be looking all the time and might miss some cool stuff. I found this awesome (well I like it) grunge dress, though it's $68 which frankly I think is too much for any dress, but it's there if you want to look at it, and a cool flannel shirt, but that's $58, and you know what, I'll just go ahead and leave the 90s grunge ebay link here http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid= ... &_from=R40 oh and i find rare albums every once in a while, especially on amazon, so I'll have to remind myself to post them in case anyone wants them.

oh and this Screaming Trees cap

and one of my facebook friends happened to like this one site once, which has some cool stuff and led me to this, which I think is one of the coolest dresses ever

A few grunge(y) albums that I like, going for less than a dollar on CD (used).

Smile - Maquee (1994)
http://www.amazon.com/Maquee-Smile/dp/B ... ile+Maquee

Pond - The Practice Of Joy Before Death (1995)
http://www.amazon.com/Practice-Joy-Befo ... words=Pond

Monsterland - Destroy What You Love (1993)
http://www.amazon.com/Destroy-What-You- ... onsterland

Sebadoh - Bakesale (1994)
http://www.amazon.com/Bakesale-Sebadoh/ ... +bake+sale

Fudge Tunnel - Creep Diets (1993)
http://www.amazon.com/Creep-Diets-Fudge ... reep+diets

actually that fudge tunnel is going for a bit more ($1.25), worth it though IMO

Oh nice, I love it when sites like that have stuff for around a dollar. It's like a virtual bargain bin.

Haha, the older I get the harder it gets to stick around.

When I was 15 I used to think it was strange how people wouldn't get on for days, much less weeks.

And now, I unfortantely understand. The only internet time I have is for tumblr and even that's few and far between.

Fiancee, idiot brother, bi polar father, depressed mother. And manic depressive me, forcing myself to get out of bed in the morning and drag my ass to school.

Oh well.

I love this stuff! I just can't browse, cause I'm so broke right now and I'd rather pay my rent and eat than spend everything on things. I do miss the mindless spending, but I'm kind of proud of myself that I've managed to keep my finances together even when I had 10 years of spending all the money I wanted without thinking. Can't wait to get a steady job and start collecting things again :)
I come from a country of northern lights, lightless days and nightless nights.
I'm not gonna sit around and waste my precious divine energy trying to explain and be ashamed of things you think are wrong with me.

To be honest, I've never done as much mindless spending as nowadays :?

It's probably the steady paycheck that makes me buy stuff, mostly books and CDs at the moment. I have to add though that I also support artists in need via crowdfunding actions. Have you seen the one about Maureen Herman, the former Babes in Toysland bassist? It's such a shame how many great artists can't even make a living.
