This is a board for discussion about grunge on the whole. Stuff that doesn't relate to specific bands alone can go in here. Feel free to share with us how you discovered grunge and give your opinion as to what grunge is to you.

I haven't seen that movie in a decade at least but I think you're right. It did have a little kid booking his own plane ticket and flying alone to save an adult relationship though. There is some kind of moral there...somewhere

Ha, yes, little kids should always take over their parents relationships and force single parents into awkward dates that for some reason actually work out in the end.

Don't forget the cheap knock-off "It Takes Two".

I hope I'm not the only one who knows that movie.

Ahahaa! I can't even remember if she's in jail or not. I was describing Sleepless in Seattle, but it was a vague description and I'm sure other movies could fit that as well.

back before Walt Disney was dead Disney made some decent movies....The Parent Trap was one of the best ones (1961)...then they decided to remake it in the late 90s and cast Lindsey Lohan in the lead playing both of the twins.

Yeah we saw the 1998 or whenever version in the theater, and I have a distinct memory of hearing when it came out on video and telling my mom something like, "Hey, we watched that movie a long time ago" because for some reason it felt like a while from when it came to the theaters to when it came out on video, unless it was just because I was like 6 at the time and life seems different when you are young.

Ooo, I always wanted to find out where all the walls where the name Mother Love Bone is spraypainted are, though I think some have been painted over by now, and that bridge in Aberdeen that Something in the Way is about, where people always write messages to Kurt.
Oh yeah, on the tour bus, the lady pointed out the news stand from Singles, but I remember not being able to find it as we were walking around or something, and I just found a thing that has a lot of locations form Singles https://sites.google.com/site/wafilmloc ... ingles1992

I love that I can just go to these places when I have free time now. If anyone visits Seattle, hit me up!
