i don't know much about lesser known grunge bands [i'm still learning] but jesus christ pose was pretty heavy imo

beat me to the punch! I guess it is pretty well known that Joan Of Arc is fucking heavy as shit, but there is no heavier version than Fantomas/Melvins version.

eh, I don't really find anything off of Houdini "Heavy"

There are alot of "hard" songs, but none I find "Heavy"

But that's my vote. I have a weird distinction between hard and heavy.

Here's another heavy Melvins song.


Also oddly enough - I don't even think Jesus Christ Pose is the heaviest Soundgarden song. 4th of July, Mailman, Slaves and Bulldozers, and Holy Water are all heavy as fuck.
