I have all the Malfunkshun releases (which came with a cool Malfunkshun pick and hand written letter from Andy's brother Kevin) and I've always been amazed at how different Malfunkshun and Mother Love Bone sounded. Malfunkshun was much more raw while Mother Love Bone sounded much more polished. I prefer MLB, but the creative genius was already showing in Andy's earlier work.

It was off of a site called Wammybox which I think Kevin runs. (Or did at the time I ordered these discs). Anyways, I ordered everything on the site which was about 6 discs. One was called Freedom, another called Landrew 4 Mom ( a gift for his mother for her birthday I believe) and another called Original Mixes. It's mostly rough recording quality as a lot of it is demos, but they are great glimpses into Malfunkshun and Andy's creativity before MLB. I thought it was really cool that Kevin took the time to thank me for ordering and enjoying his brother's music.
