Would've been huge...

Love rock extraordinaires! Between Malfunkshun and Pearl Jam there was Mother Love Bone.

Would've been huge...

If Andy hadn't died they would've been huge. I just got Apple and it blew me away, i think they'd be right up there with the big 4 (well... actually... if they had stayed together pearl jam probably wouldn't exist)

They had a major label contract in the making before Nirvana or any other big bands.

i think it might be cuz their act was still a bit more approriate for the era, wheres nirvana was just somethin completely different thus, harder to sell.

i agree that mother love bone is absolutely amazing and could have been bigger than nirvana if andy wood hadnt Overdosed :( its actually sad that most mainstream fans or occasional listeners only kno MLB as the band with a lot of guys that went on to form pearl jam

It's probably the subject that confuses me the most. Pearl Jam is my favourite band but I wish Andy never died. That's so complicated :roll:
Dearly beloved are you listening?
I can't remember a word that you were saying
Are we demented or am I disturbed?
The space that's in between insane and insecure
Oh, therapy, can you please fill the void?
Am I retarded or am I just overjoyed

andrew > eddie
let the flaming begin! =P
seriously tho, pearl jam is a good band but the energy andrew had as a frontman was just nuts.

Eddie was in several bands in California. Forgot the names of them though....They're weren't half bad from the brief things I heard but nothing compared to what MLB and PJ done.

yea eddie was in bad radio. they werent that bad but have a totally diferent feel to their music then what hes done with pearl jam. in those bad radio days was when eddie wrote the song better man so we did have a bit of a preview of what was to come. it is a shame about andrew though :(
