Pearl Jam.

I have nothing against MLB or Andy, I just like Eddie's song writing more. And MLB has that glam rock feel to them a bit too, which is a turn off....But I love them both, PJ gets the vote.

Mlb also are great and i adore the history which stems back to this band and the bands which evolved after them.

That was definitely a tough question. :) I find pearl jam alot more emotionally engaging than MLB but never the less i really do love MLB... I listen to them when i'm sad because i can guarantee they will cheer me up... I think MLB would have probably evolved into making even better music if Andy Wood hadn't passed away... Its a real shame. Never the less i voted for PJ...

I've got no problems with the glam feeling either, I think that actually made them "special" among the Seattle bands :)

It's actually pretty close for me. Pearl Jam's first two albums blow Mother Love Bone out of the water, but I think Mother Love Bone's best songs are a hell of a lot better than anything after Vs. (although I still like latter-years Pearl Jam). "Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns", "Bone China", and a few other MLB songs are way more emotional and uplifting than Pearl Jam for me, but overall Pearl Jam has a better sound I think.
