Hype!

Post by Curmudgeon »

I was watching Hype! tonight for the first time in a loooooong time. There's something about it that I've always wondered and never figured out, so maybe someone here knows for certain...
About 7 or so minutes into the movie, there's footage of a band playing at the Rainbow Tavern in 1984, one person is dressed as a phone, the other as Bullwinkle the moose, anyone know what band that is?

Given that the telephone was a female, I have to say no

And I don't think Mr. Epp played live or in a large/club venue. I know they did some small shows and played with some punk bands but I don't think they played there....Its possible though, when I get motivation to look through my e-mails for it I'll post it. I been very lazy

I like the part when Fresh Young Fellows went to japan. Those guys dancing by the street along with low beat is really whacky. :D

Where can I find this movie ?
Dearly beloved are you listening?
I can't remember a word that you were saying
Are we demented or am I disturbed?
The space that's in between insane and insecure
Oh, therapy, can you please fill the void?
Am I retarded or am I just overjoyed
