Eddie joins the short hair trend

Post by Y2K-kyle »

Looks like Eddie Vedder has joined in on having short hair, given though he did not have a lot to begin with.

Regardless, here you go:

Eh, who cares? :P It's not like guys like Vedder, Cantrell, etc. carry their talent in their hair, ya know?

He's 49 years old, I don't see why people expect to see rockstars with the same haircut for the rest of their lifes.

^You don't see it because you're blind to their eyes. Nobody other than perhaps little children expects anyone to remain the same forever, but "sudden" changes -haircuts and other kinds of 'look-changes' are a good example- come as a suprise (As it's logical). To use a "People changes" argument during a "Oh look, I wasn't expecting this/I'm still getting used to this change" situation is just a perfectly effective yet stupid way to instantly end a conversation before it starts, therefore making the other interlocutor feel awkward for his/her comment that was only intended to start a little healthy chat.

Simply put, anti-social, pseudo wise/smartass prick attitude that does nothing but say "Shut up and deal with it, you're concerned with things that can't be helped". A rough way to try and impart a little wisdom that is indeed useful and should be taken into consideration by the individual who receives it; Yet this may not come easy on him/her and can lead to frustration if it happens many times.

TL;DR I don't care if he like all humans is bound to change looks from time to time, I just wanna talk about his hair goddammit.

btw Eddie looks hawt

Grrrrrr. This is reminding me of being a confused 6 year old in 1998 when suddenly everyone started cutting their hair, and missing the long haired dudes.

I just hate short hair in general. It just bugs me so much. Of course anyone can do what they want, but perhaps for us younger folks, it's part of their image, and to help feel like it's 1992 all over again in a world where we missed out on that, and to fill in the void of long haired rocker people that our generation left us without. They all just started to grow their hair back out (well Jerry and Sean seemed to always have it, but Eddie had it shaved at one point) so it's like "oh come on! You were so close to having it the length it was back in the 90s!"

Honestly I thought he had short hair before. The world really hasn't shit its pants about a hair cut since Metallica went for the group rate at super cuts.
