Pearl Jam's new Exhibit at the EMP/MoPop

Post by KristinNirvana »

It was actually a huge exhibit so by no means is this all but here's a few pics I took of it. It's at the big music museum by the Space Needle with the cool architecture on the outside, that used to be called the EMP (Experience Music Project) because it started off as a collection of Jimi Hendrix memorabilia, but they changed the name to MoPop (Meuseum of Pop Culture).

They had Jeff Ament's hats you guys! Also that's a statue of Andy Wood.

It must be so cool to see all these things in person  I love how Andrew Wood is growing out of wood.
The Jeevies. It's a feeling you get.

Yes! It was very awe-inspiring. They were playing Pearl Jam songs and I just started dancing around.

There are also so many grunge references around the city if you know where to look. Up the street from where I work now is a record store called Silver Platters and they have a Chris Cornell paining on the side of the building.

Lol I didn't even catch that until now!

I mean he's not *actually* growing out of wood since the statue is made of bronze apparently but :P

Such a pity that it's so far away from where I live. Maybe one of us does win the lottery and we can take the forum pilgrimage to Seattle together after all 8-)
