Correct me if I'm wrong...but I don't see The Breeders anywhere on the list. What up?

1: Yes, They're fvckin awesome! And dude, the last album was only..a couple years ago so its not like they vanished 20 years ago! I'd kill to be on any of their shows.

2. Tom, that would be awesome. Canonball was the first video I watched and I was probably.... gee, 3rd grader I think. The rolling ball attracted my adhd eyes and then I listened to it and was like, wait, are they twins? This is awesome!! Didn't have any of their cds until I was in highschool tho. The song and video stuck in my head that long before I finally dig deeper. I especially loved Divine Hammer and The She. Let me correct that. I love every single one of their songs equally. They're that good.

3. The Pixies is up there, but not Breeders?

4. 2 response for the breeders?? seriously??? dude................. not cool.... They're my number 1 female band of all time!!
I mean, really???

Thats cool, it only motivates me to listen to their stuff more now. Kim Deal is fvckin awesome. Nuff said.

I love the Breeders! I always wanted to sound like Kim Deal. I always thought of The Breeders and Helium as the most alternative sounding alternative bands.

Just listened to 'Last Splash' on my Ipod the other day!

Always liked 'Divine Hammer'!

Also after reading this thread I went and looked up Kelly Deals wiki article and am glad to see she is still around. There was some false rumor that she had died of a Heroin over-dose so I am glad she has gotten re-habbed.

Pretty much every band that either Deal touches ends up being excellent...
The Kelly Deal 6000
The Amps (Short-lived, but so good it makes you angry)
Even Josephine Wiggs' band was so cool it made your jaw chatter.

I have a sickeningly small amount of Breeders stuff. And I'm pretty sure I have everything they released.
(and at least one CD that they didnt!)
Had it not been for Title TK coming out, I'd never have picked up a guitar. Which is a strange thought.
More for the complete lack of similarity my stuff has!

A while back I was digging through my parent's old CDs from when they were teens in the early 90s, and I found The Last Splash. Honestly I'd never heard of the Breeders before, but I've been listening to them occasionally, and I really like the album!

^^I know Kim was/is the bassist for the Pixies, but correct me if I'm wrong, but I read somewhere that Kim didn't play bass for the Breeders.
