Bahahaaaa sometimes I do the same thing, cept I'm just like, "Da fuck is this SHIT??"

It's sad though, no one will listen to us -_- They're too absorbed in their popular non-talented music...I swear, it's like most people are brainwashed! I sometimes think it's a social experiment. "Let's see, if we deem this 'cool' how many people will follow this absurd shit?"

Ha, I think that too, like I keep waiting for someone to come along and say, ha it was a joke, I can't believe you all took it so seriously, I mean look at this junk, REALLY?!? You fell for that?! And I'd swear that Subpop only has those bad new way too soft light and fluffy hipster atmospheric indie bands on their label eiter until someone has the guts to stand up to them and say enough, we want ROCK now, like they secretly want, or until they can say ha, we pulled the ultimate punk prank by getting everyone to listen to this junk.

Right!??!?!?! But I think whoever is conducting this experiment is seeing how long it can go for....like, a study in human acceptance. How many humans will like, or say they like, this shitty music just to fit in. Just to NOT be different, yanno, gawd forbid. I think this goes for some products too like fancy phones, ipods, etc. xD

Yes! Actually in school all I ever heard was "you're supposed to like what's new and popular" and I never heard anyone say anything different, and it's like what the... you like what you like BECAUSE it's what you like, it has nothing to do with if it's new or popular, so it really does seem like they don't even like it, they really just want to fit in, which is the stupidest thing ever. It's like all of today's society is totally messed up, and it's been going on for like 13 years!

I've got a band now, you know. So next compilation, no matter what it takes, I'm gonna make sure to send in a track.

KristinNirvana wrote:Man, we so have to start a revolution! Ha, sometimes I just feel like going to a crowded public place and complaining about the modern state of music today, the bad mainstream stuff and the bad new indie and rock of today, I'd totally do it too, but sometimes when I try and say something it doesn't come out right and I choke on my words and get all tongue tied and forget where I was going with it. But, the next time I walk into a store and the Jonas Brothers or someone stupid is playing, i'll probably make a huge scene and just break down screaming "NOOO!!! Not the bad music, get it away! Why is everything so fake and shallow today?"
This. I am gonna do that.
