Re: Dragline
Alright, so I'm currently having my first taste of Paw's Dragline, and I must say I like it. Definitely more grunge than alt.rock, they well deserve their own section here.
Jessie is a catchy tune, but Sleeping Bag and The Bridge (that's as far as I got by now) aren't bad either. Good band, good album. Thanks again to Kev for updating the download link.

So, I've been also getting my first bite of Paw, and I really like it! I'm so happy I found my way here, I've found great bands and I think I will find many more!
And my faves from Dragline are Jessie, Gasoline, Sleeping Bag and Dragline. This has grown on me so fast, so I'll expect that this will be one of those albums I can listen through in the near future.

Re: Dragline
I used to listen to it with friends in the mid-90s... still listen to a lot
VERY, VERY underated band from that period!!

Re: Dragline
"Jessie" is such a heartbreaking song if you really listen to the lyrics. I had to go pet my dog after I heard it the first time back in the day

Re: Dragline
FYI Dragline had a remaster done just recently. I found it on Amazon. Has like 5 bonus tracks bsides.
I got a copy, sounds good. Working on getting the Japanese releases to see if they come with lyrics.

Re: Dragline
That's awesome. I've realized in the last years that the singer Mark Hennessy seems to appreciate grunge (for instance he was quoted as saying "Grunge didn't die; your patience did." at a show back in 2008) so I kind of have more respect for him now.

Re: Dragline
Jesse, you were a good dog...always loved that song... I never really checked out the rest of their music, if the internet was around back then I would have done so. But never too late...

Re: Dragline
I got this version last year, Dragline really is a great album and much more than just Jessie (although that's really an absolute timeless and original take on grunge and will forever be a favorite of mine
