Yup, he kind of lost his street cred with nevermind... he probably regretted doing all those pop songs later

No dude....... i disagree..... he wanted to be popular, but he made it prety obvious that he only wanted to be with popular with ppl who understood his music and the culture it was coming from...... he wanted to be popular in the Indie scene, probably the coolest indie band ever but not another Beatles......

ofcourse he wanted to be popular.... alot of people dream of that, he was never perfect far from perfect, remember that..... i think once he gained fame he realised how over rated it was and then decided it sucked... it was peed off with so much publicity into his private life and the fact that the jocks he hated were listening to his music... i mean that would piss me off...its quite simple really.... and i dont think he wouldve cared about his journals.... i dont think he would have liked all the MTV kurts death anniversiry crap

Kurt was a man just like any other person.. when did he become Jesus? If the Jesus journals were found, would it be ok to read them?

Kurt sold out and then started whining about it because he wanted to be another Greg Sage.

Kurt worked with MTV because at the time the station was Grunge band driven. Alice in chains getting an unplugged as well. It wasnt as if Nirvana were the only band on MTV at the time.

I think it was a good idea they were published it gives insight to his mind and better ubderstanding of his lyrics.

For those of you who voted no.. Do you think they shouldn't have published the Diary of Anne Frank?

You don't think the fans wanted it? It sold enough to consider a second one and people want the info. Who does this harm?

The fans really wanted it. But still there are some fans who dont want it. And I am one of them. I havent read a single journal of Kurt Cobain.
