BEST & WORST Song of All Time?!?

Post by Y2K-kyle »

I am positive that this has been done but what is Nirvana's GREATEST AND WORST song of all time in the eyes to the fans that still listen to their music instead of the BS we see and hear today.

I've loved "You Know Your Right", "Dive" and "Sappy" ever since I first heard them.

worst I would say, "Territorial Pissings", "Big Long Now" and "Aero Zepplin" are at the bottom of the totem pole.

@harmony90--->Yes I do. I guess I am what people might call a "mark" for Nirvana another than if people say they suck I go whatever cause they got no taste in music.

Guess I should give my own opinion about this thread....only makes since

To me the BEST song is Aneurysm

&

the WORST is Hairspray Queen or Gallons of Rubbing Alcohol Flow Through the Strip

I can't honestly say there is a nirvana song i dislike... but:

Best = Milk It...

Worst = Aerozepplin

Maybe..

though i don't dislike Aerozepplin, i just think they did better...

Hmmm I don't really have a least favorite song, and I don't know if it have to be songs made and/or covered be Nirvana but, my least favorite has to be "Jesus Doesn't want me for a Sunbeam"...
And god my favorite, hmmm I'll have to say both "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and "You know your right"

On which album do you find "Hairspray Queen"?
Bleach? Since It's the only album I've barely listened too.

I have to say my least favorite is probably "In Bloom". I guess they did a lot worse, like "Hairspray Queen" and all the experimental stuff they did, but at least they're somewhat interesting to me. "In Bloom" to me sounds like the very first post-grunge song. A hundred times better than any post-grunge that came after it, but still kinda generic.

My favorite might be "All Apologies" these days. I used to dislike it and didn't see the big deal people made over it, but I love the way the electric album version sounds. It's so sweet and catchy yet at the same time, louder and noisier than you really notice the first few times you listen to it. It has everything I love in a Nirvana song .
I took a journey to the pyramids, there was nothing there but sand, and the ghost of a child who had never been born. In a thousand years, no one planted trees there, so all that grew from the sand was stone.

In Bloom not your favorite? I guess I can see it that way but have listened to the Sub Pop version? The sound is grungier than the Nevermind version yet it is not powerful.
