Does the lead singer of the Melvins sound just like the lead singer of that cheesy band Metallica or is it me?

hey man metallicas not cheesy, you should go look up some of cliff burtons(bassist) solos.... they were my first musical phase of the brit invasion

I don't really think so. I like Buzz alot better in every way. Hetfield's singing style isn't my favorite and he comes off as an arrogant prick to me.

Yeah, the two sound mighty different. Actually, I couldn't think of a singer with a voice similar to Buzz's. But on the other hand, I only own Houdini by the Melvins, plus those few tracks on Deep Six, so not really much to judge from.

buzz has a deeper more masculien voice, although both of there voices are masculien, i think they are on different octaves if im using the term right

listen to the song honey bucket :) there are some similarities...ive told a bunch of my friends that its old unreleased metallica just for fun and they have belived me :) hehe
