Mad season is really good feeling music, so much emotion expressed in one album

When I got the deluxe version of Above, I gave my dad my copy of the old CD. Yesterday he lets me know that he finally listened to it, and I'm expecting a, "It wasn't really my thing" reaction, but he goes, "Do they have any other albums?" He loved it, especially "Wake Up," which he keeps singing, and "River of Deceit" too. He's not really a big fan of 90s alternative--I think he owns PJ's Ten and the STP best-of, but that's about the extent of his interest. So I was really pleased to hear that he dug Mad Season. I know that he wouldn't really be interested in AiC because of the anti-religious lyrics in some songs, but it's always kind of cool the rare times when he and I are on the same musical wavelength.

Really dig Mad Season

My dad gave it to me as a Christmas present a long long time ago...

I didn't really think it was great at first, but it caught me in the right mood, been loving it ever since

Favourites: Long Gone Day, Wake Up, I Don't Know Anything, Slip Away, Lifeless Dead
"I wish I could just hug you all

But I'm not gonna!"

Wow, I never even knew about this band! Took a minute to track down some tracks to listen to and they're great! Thanks GF... always awesome to hear new music, regardless of how OLD it is! :)

Mad season's album has superior sound and Laynes voice with mCcreedy's (spelling check) simple yet resonating guitar represent a freedom felt by both members I suppose. I don't know either person,(didn't), but think that a few songs off the album are and we're just amazing. Still play them now as much as I did when I was 16@.
Long live the memories of a small town with great artists. Cheers

Yeah it's pretty good. I like the touches of reflective atmosphere.

Fuck this American bullshit, I'm from Yorkshire, and it's Yorkshire day. Let's go eat some tatties and Yorkshire pudding.
