ok.
now i'm bummed man.
my Mad season CD was meant to be in last week but it wasnt.
so i phoned the record shop today cos they were meant to have a delivery today.but they changed the day to tomorrow.and i'm at college till friday.so even if it comes in tomorrow i cant get it till saturday.
i'm feeling like the powers to be just dont want me to have it.
agh.

They are a different flavor then the member's other bands. Dark, Blues, plus a little herion . I like Mad Season a lot because they are a real sounding band with mucho talent. What song did you hear? or songs?

i gotta say overall alice in chains is better, but mad season's pretty close. if theyd come out with another album i mightve ended up liking them more. :)

True.
It's hard to decide but Mad season had some of my fav members like Mike McCready , Mark Lanegan and Layne Staley of course. So, for me its like a pleasure to listen fusion from favorite musicians

Mad Season is more of a jazz/blues/grunge weird combination of weird shit. I love it though, it's a band I like to listen to when it rains.

"River Of Deceit" is a great song. My favorite from the album. I wish these guys could have made more music, but I think Above was a really solid effort and Layne's voice is beyond words.

The fusion is totally reflected in the song November Hotel :D
