IMO, I think it was the reason he stoped caring...He was a man for one woman.What hurts me the most is thinking about his loneliness,OMG,makes me so "fluffy inside" :(

Well, lovebattery, I can't compare these two bands. Even though some might say that their music is similar, for me, these two bands were each on their on path to something great, and they have achieved it on different ways. I'm not talking just about Layne, but all of them.
AIC and Mad Season are equal to me.
I regret that Mad Season have only "Above". I'm sure that they had some more songs to publish, it would be very interesting...

hey, I have a question, since grunge is so incestous, wouldn't half the bands be considered supergroups?

Mike Mcready is a geinus in Mad season, so is Layne, great side project. Like someone aid earleir if you buy it, it is wroth every penny.

I read somewhere on another board that McCready was coming up with new matiral for a second album befroe Layne died and that Mad Season 2 might of had Mark Lanegan as their new singer, seeing as he was awsome in his duet with Layne on "Long GOne Day".
