Was sorting comics and found a Mad Season ad as the back cover of one book....I was floored....its like you guys were trying to send me a message or something. Image

That is pretty unbelievable... but guys who like comics and grunge tend to look pretty similar. Pretty genius cross-marketing imo.

Whoa badass. I suppose Grunge fans and comic fans tend to be around the same age (late teens, early 20's) at least in the 90s.

I'd consider that an insult if my mom or sister said it but yeah both were Huge at the same time!

I was just really surprised because that was the era when ads for video games took over ever fifth page of comics. As a result I'm pretty sure the ad prices hit their peak. Those ad pages in comics were much more distracting in the 70s when it was all Tshirt designs, starwars and comic action figures and xray specs!
