Other Bands like Mad Season?

Post by Squidtard » Sat Aug 22, 2015 8:36 am

I love Mad Season, but I'm sorta burnt out on their music after listening to it over and over again. Are there any good bands like Mad Season?

I mean with the Bluesyness and whatnot. I know Screaming Trees have that but they start to bore me after a while. Don't get me wrong (No Pun Intended) I love them, but I need more variety.

I'd say Mark Lanegan's solo work was more like Mad Season than the Trees were.

Temple of the Dog would be a little too obvious, no? :)

A longtime favorite of mine have always been Mother Tongue. Their debut album is a great mixture of blues, funk and grunge that has always reminded me of Mad Season. You should try them out.

Wow, Mother Tongue are pretty cool. I'll have to listen to more of them later, thanks.
