TAD lyrics

Post by sodajerk93 » Sat Apr 30, 2011 7:26 am

Well, I haven't posted on here in a while, but I'd like to get back into things. Since TAD lyrics are so incomprehensible, I think this would be a good place for us to post interpretations of what he's really saying, especially on their earlier work. So if you think you have difficult lyrics worked out, post here!

I'll start with my translation of "Axe to Grind", which I think is pretty difficult to make out.

She's all right
She's got a cross to bear
She's got an axe to grind
She's gonna blow your mind
She's got an axe to grind
She's all right
(Repeat)

And "Sex God Missy"...

Got no civil light in here
Hard to tell what I want
On the brink of release now, baby
Yeah, it smells like love

Missy's got what you want
Missy's got what you need
Missy's got a car in a garage
Missy's got you on your knees

Got my tongue halfway down your throat, baby
It tastes like love
Got my car in the driveway, baby
Now it smells like love

Missy's got what you want
Missy's got what you need
Missy's got a car in a garage
Missy's got you on your knees

Got no civil light in here
Hard to tell what I want
On the brink of release now, baby
Yeah, it smells like love

Missy's got what you want
Missy's got what you need
Missy's got a car in a garage
Missy's got you on your knees, yeah
I took a journey to the pyramids, there was nothing there but sand, and the ghost of a child who had never been born. In a thousand years, no one planted trees there, so all that grew from the sand was stone.

Do you guys like adele? Cause this dude is trolling in the deep.
