Okay one thing, NEVER go above your knees. It looks fake.

Knees are okay.

I should add another good way to get holes in and it works for me (as I said way above, my jeans is natural wear and tear) is skateboarding :P The amount of times I bail and slide on my knees (ouchies) gives me nice grungey jeans :P

Haha good tip actually, the amount of my pants that got unintentionally ripped to shreds because of it.

For me its the complete opposite to what every one else does so it makes me somewhat unique in my towns. Everyone is either in these skinny jeans or these "trendy jeans" and then theres me in a normal pair of blue denim jeans with holes in them. it seperates me from the current trends. Of course if ever holey jeans come back in fashion again I shall go the opposite direction

thats just fucking stupid.

i wear the clothes i wear because

a)they suit me

b)there comfitable

c)i usually got them cheap

d)there warm,or cool,depending on the season

e)i'd get arrested,or cause a major car crash,or psychological damage to some poor fool if i was naked.

being fashonable/anti-fashonable is just dumb.you are not an indivitual for trying to fit in,or for trying to stick out.you are being the same as everybody else.

the reason that grungers from Seattle wore ripped jeans is because they where skint, and actually could'nt afford new trousers when theres ripped.

thats your opinion. :P

I wear clothes because they are comfortable too, hence I dont wear skinnies, but I also like having my own individual look hence holes. its just me. always have done. I dont like looking like someone else so its not stupid.

but you are always gonna look like someone else.you do not make your own clothes from your own hand woven cloth, that you then lovingly stitch together with the thread you made, cut to your own new and indivitual patterns.

also you said if it went the other way,so would you.thats the problem i have.screw the lot of it.find something you are happy with, and change it as and when you feel like it.not just because everyone else does.

I once sewed a t-shirt with this machine my mum has.. It was actually pretty cool... Im haing serious thoughts of making my own clothes. Not to be unique, but to just wear things that I want

I don't wear skinny jeans because they're kind of uncomfortable. Normal or baggy jeans are kind of hard to get though :sad2: And I don't rip them. Maybe I will in summer. If my parents won't go crazy... :x
