So I want to find out how to make my pants or jeans look grungey in the right way

Most of my jeans have holes in the knees but that was due to natural wear and tear. I do add other rips. I do it by poking them along where I want the rip to go putting small holes in and then tearing them by hand along the holes. Never cut them with scissors it just doesnt look right.

yea i learned that the hard way, if you use a knife with ridges, you can do it

i just taught my friend this the other day its easy. First find a solid surface to do it on, then you have to find something like a book to put in the sleve of the jean. Thenn, take a cheese grater to distress the jean and scrape it against where the object is inside the pant. Finally take something really sharp like a box cutter and slice tiny holes and rip them the rest of the way, leaving the white jean thred on the tear. also washing the jeans is a great way to distress them natrually. ptched jeans are cool too all you have to do is cut a peice of a dark or light jean then cut a hol in the opposite jean (light or dark) and patch it inside after ripping the jean where you want the new piece patched and sew it inside the rip. Ive looked at tons of DIY tutorials and have been doing this for years now so its always been a pretty solid method for me hope it works as well for you.

What about double pants? It's winter here in Lithuania and it's pretty cold so wearing ripped jeans wouldn't be good for me. How do I do that? Wear non-ripped jeans and then ripped jeans on them right?

What you need:
-Sandpaper
- Blunt knife (if you use a sharp, it'll just look like you're trying too hard )
- Cheese grater
-Nail File.

I put regular bleach in a spray bottle and spray it on my jeans too, it looks pretty cool, you should try that.

I should add another good way to get holes in and it works for me (as I said way above, my jeans is natural wear and tear) is skateboarding The amount of times I bail and slide on my knees (ouchies) gives me nice grungey jeans
