Flannel Shirts

Post by Mithaearon » Thu Nov 27, 2008 2:56 am

I managed to get 2 new flannel shirts yesterday woot! I got them from Peacocks of all places. For those not in the UK Peacocks is a clothes shop and I don't know about the rest of the country but it used to be quick cool for clothes and then went all chavy where I live but now has gone back to having some cool stuff. Anyway I good two good sized actual flannel checked shirts I am planning to get a few more when I get paid whislt they have some, stock up on them.

lol, i get mine where i buy from the pound, i have to wait untill mid summer to buy them though, because they get clothes late, and sell everything in the opposite season. i have to wait, but when i do go on a good day i will find at least 15 - 20 good fitting flannels, i cant wait!!!

Heey man, does anyone know of a good place to buy flannel in the UK? I can never seem to find it anywhere, and my current stash is starting to run low. I still dont get the point of a freezing spell without snow or rain...tis weather designed to piss me off.

UK Peacocks used to sell them a month back but now they have stopped and gone all Chavvy. I will pop into my local one tomorrow to see if they have them back again and let you know. HAve you tried http://www.joebrowns.co.uk? I have not got a shirt from there before but they do sell checked shirts

Hmm i'll have to have a look. Resident flannel tester in the house. :)

Peacocks, blah, chav breeding ground like almost every other shop these days. God those juicy tracksuits make me cringe...

Oh and thanks, british manners. :wink2:

I got several flannel shirts from my great grandfather. They are really big on me which is great for comfort, especially when it's chilly.

Yeah when my great grandfather and great grandmother passed away, we got their house and everything in it. I picked up his flannel shirts and a few of my great grandmother's old clothes. She kept everything, they had tons of old clothes from the 40s/50s/60s/etc. Pretty cool stuff to rummage through. :D
