kinderwhore, babydoll, grunge dresses

Post by pepedede »

Hi everybody,

Call me old fashioned if you like but I am old enough to remember the early 90's and really miss the fashion of that time, I don't really like the term kinderwhore but I really think the style of babydoll dresses, mary jane shoes or boots etc, and for guys flannel, ripped jeans, sneakers etc. really cut through the crap and let everyone dress for comfort and individuality.

I know there are some out there who still like the grunge fashion and even if there is a revival like neo grunge or whatever you want to call it, it will probably just become some designer fashion trend on the runways like 2013 dries van noten collection.

What I really miss is the thrift shop ethic of finding vintage cool clothes for little money, even with ebay and etsy you have stuff like original "grunge dresses" going for $50-100.

.
I still like to embrace the unique, I am attracted to different- music, fashion, things, people etc. :D Pepe

I love stuff like that too. The thrift stores around me never have any of it though.

I've never understood being excited about styles. But hey, different strokes for different folks (products of Kyle)
Fuck this American bullshit, I'm from Yorkshire, and it's Yorkshire day. Let's go eat some tatties and Yorkshire pudding.

You mean I used a quote that exists? Glad you're putting it to use regardless.
