The word "grunge" dates from the early 70's when a journalist used it to describe a band (I have forgotten what it was called). Mark Arm catalysed the term "grunge" in the late 80's and then it kicked off from there.

I went to Lollapalooza in 1992 in Dallas, it was either very late July or early August. PJ and SG didn't play Hunger Strike at that show unless it was on one of the second stages. If so..I WISH I WOULD HAVE KNOWN! lol
