I only have a cassette player in my car. There are a few decent stations around here so I don't mind tuning in. It's nice to get outside your own world of music sometimes and hear something you might not normally.

my car has cassette and radio (no cd). My cassette collection is well over 1000 but I usually check the radio before tossing on a tape. I must listen to more radio then I realize because I recognize everything they play on the main station I'm tuned into...but its getting worse rather then better.

I only tune into the pop stations 'round here cause sometimes they play some really good stuff from the past.

We have had a few retro stations around here that are decent at times cus they don't play the same stuff every hour. The one thats currently going claims hits of the 70s 80s and 90s but in the past year I don't think I've heard one 90s tune. Some decent 80s cheese but some not so decent.

There's a station here that plays songs from 70s to 90s which is good comparing to other stations.
