Best Album?

Kim Gordon & Thurston Moore have been kicking it hard for over 20 years and they can still put on a mean show. Talk about these New York gods here!

I'd give Dirty the biscuit for overall coolness

But yeah, there are some awesome experiements on their other albums for sure... No Queen Blues is one... Barracuda is another for great guitarwork & controlled distortion, lol or isn't that most of their songs? :P

Dirty is definitely the most accesible, along with Daydream Nation, Washing Machine & their latest, Sonic Nurse. I love Screaming Skull too... sweet punky goodness! I have too many SY albums, I've yet to hear them all   x

^True, but not every "Grunge" album is as quality and brilliant as nevermind or ten or whatever. Quite a few bands jumped on the grunge bandwagon, and their music sucks (LIKE SKIN YARD!!!)

Yeah actully, that is true. Ive got their very first album released in 1985, around the first wave of bands (right?), Matt Cameroon used to drum in them very breifly before joining soundgarden. But i still say their music sucks, i really dont dig the singers (ben) voice. The only song i really love is 'skins in the closet' (off their self titled debut) which is excelent...
