I think this one and Everybody Loves Our Town were the best books about grunge since Loser. I'm still FB friends with Stephen Tow, guy is seriously funny too.

I mean he's not wrong in a number of aspects regarding running a band as "a small, self-sufficient business". On the other hand, show me the band that pays its mortgage that way? I mean ticket monipolies and the lack of long-term artist development aside, it's definitely a self-exploiting enterprise...
