Re: favorite song nirvana covered?

Joey Ramone and Iggy Pop started out as drummers too! Kurt Cobain, Eddie Van Halen, Hell even I started on drums... It's a good easy starting place. Cornell, Phil Collins... and many more great musicians started on drums... I think this experience behind the heart of a band determined their greatne...

Re: Help us name our new album!

"Father Nature" :wink:

"Flover" :roll:

"Polli-Nation" :wink2:

or.... "Bumblebees and other flying shit..." :evil:

it would be easier if you threw some lyrics here... Imo album name should be related to its content

Re: Pearl Jam- Lightning Bolt

At first I thought... CRAPP!!! But it's growing like King Animal - the more I listen the more I like it. If the rest is at similar level it seems that pretty butt kicking album is coming. Damn... I know it's hopeless but I'm still waiting for another Ten... for another emotional album with legendary...

Re: Ben Shepard releasing debut solo album

What? I haven't heard about it!
That's a great news.

The song is decent, didn't expect anything incredibly good, but overally I enjoy it... altho I expected more of Ben's bummy style in it;)
But the intro riff tousle my balls;O

Re: Do original AIC Fans Like William DuVall?

so AIC with Duvall will never be AIC with Staley just as BGWTB era will never be the Facelift era just as 2013 will never be like 1993. taking this into consideration we must give Mr. Duvall his dues he's an awesome vocalist I he has his roots in Hardcore punk and has been active in playing and wri...

Second guitar (acoustic/electric - up to u) - some fills and solo at the end 3. Jerry's part 4. Chris' part 5. Layne's part 6. Mark's part B. Opti...

And how is the band gonna be called, eh? Høstsantebee skunchgarden? Haaha that actually sounds pretty good. Btw. The more join us the better. People who play on some exotic instruments are welcome. Re: The GF-300 Collab/Ideas Thread

well either the guitar or the bass should be the base for the rest...

I think the original structure of the song + guitar solo at the end would sound badass I might add some drums, or at least percussions + I can try to sing cornells part;)))
also I could put some licks or harmonica maby... dunno

Well it's not like I like only 1 song;)
I love 1 song, I like 1-2 and the rest is just ok;)
But someone who dig lighter stuff will love the whole album.
I'm just a heavy-type guy';)

Re: The GF-300 Collab/Ideas Thread

if there's be more people willing to do it then we might consider making 'more fat' version of Right Turn... with drums... guitar solo part... harmonica or whatever - 4 voices will be needed... damn that may sound cool ;O

Re: Bad Voodoo

don't care about labeling your music!... just play whatever you want without trying to meet the requirements of a particular genre.

To me it sounds like chilly stoner rock... tho I'm not a specialist

more apropriate question would be - 'is this a good ballad?'

..and I'd answer yes;)

Re: WONDERFLU

I always have huge expectations towards non-US grunge bands, but I usually end up disappointed. This time it wasn't that bad... I mean this stuff definitelly sounds professional, but some of the songs are too radio-friendly to call them grungy Although "Anybody" raped my butt ;O - if only the rest w...
