Re: help me to complete my alice in chains band biography

Why the anger? I forgot to get up and catch my train yesterday, had to spend the entire day getting home and I'm still not mad. Follow a healthier example, yours truly, and you will have a better day! Anyhow, we are pretty damn dedicated here and know about the bands in higher detail than any wikip...

Re: Coffee And Other Caffeinated Delights by Dan Bee

Thank you for taking the time to listen and give your feedback. Here is a youtube link to the first track "Coffee" played live with a drummer. Let me know if you think it makes a difference? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-FS20o3OF7s that's really nice performance, not only drumming wise. I like it...

Re: Coffee And Other Caffeinated Delights by Dan Bee

Altho I'm not a fan of such style my ears tell me that this is a proffesional and admirable stuff;) The only thing which stays behind are drums. As far as I know you've programmed them by yourself? Maby you should think about getting a little help with drum compositions from some experienced drummer...

Re: :O CHECK OUT THIS CRACKED ARTICLE!

I thought he was a little harsh about Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk, I thought they were the only ones that delivered the goods in that band. yeah, he bashed them like they were the worst rhytm section ever. I can agree that they have pretty 'calm' style compared to Ben + Matt but they are definitel...

Re: Limo Wreck

I love that tapped verse guitar melody... it builds a great feeling of melancholy which I'm seeking in every song I listen to. Anyone got the idea what the lyrics are about? Some kind of selfdestruct of human nation? Damn, I love Cornell's lyrics... their mystical indirectness always leave space for...

Re: Room A Thousand Years Wide

One of the few songs where Cornell hits the super low notes with his voice.... purring "One who loved what love denieeeeed" damn he sounds so freakin sexy!;O I'm 120% heterosexual, I can't even stand presence of a naked man in the same room without the feeling of disgust but there are vocal parts in...

Re: Ben Shepard releasing debut solo album

Aw man, you DEFINITELY need to hear them! They released four albums in their active time and also have their own thread somewhere . Their first albums were definitely lo-fi garage psych affairs, whereare their final release actually had a proper production and is also my best-loved of their albums....

"[...] Chris is going to be working on a solo acoustic record [...] " At first I was like "fuck no!" but then I thought: "King Animal came after few terrible years of hurting my hearing with fagotty Cornell's solo shit... so maby if he's gonna disappoint his fans again and gets some critical punch m...

Re: favorite song nirvana covered?

Because there are two type of musicians - performers and composers. Performers will always be in a center of attention with their solos played with a shoe, upside down, with a guitar behind their back, doing backflip, doing backflip over the pool with sharks, with sharks with monocles and cylinder h...
