Re: Is their anyone else who doesn't like AIC?

I keep seeing this reference to GodSmack being an imitator of AIC, which is of course redicules (IMO) Since when is being a fan of a band and being inspired by the great music they've put out make you an imitator? Seriously nothing is fully is original; they were inspired by them who were inspired ...

Re: Is their anyone else who doesn't like AIC?

 I think there was a reason why there was the big 4 grunge bands, each band had something different to offer the musical community. However, to say a band is bland is kind of a lame reason. Re: SMB Project (hot female bassist)

Wikipedia has a somewhat better list of some gaze bands here. The other list posted has some newer bands that are interesting mixed with punk stuff.

That might be, still I would never list them on a list of gaze bands. Same for Talk Talk and a couple others you had on the list.

Re: SMB Project (hot female bassist)

I only know 3 songs from Fugazi, but i always gt hooked on them. They don't sound like shoegaze though, so perhaps I should check out way more from them. Ok, I just listened again, maybe I can see a little where that comes from. Fugazi is NOT shoegaze. They are a post-hardcore punk band. Ian MacKay...

Very nice set up. I am digging a lot of the bands you have posted. Is there anywhere to get SMB Project, Pet Salad and The Chocolate?
